Key Duties Resealing cylinders as required Service and repair to hydraulic components and systems Use of SM8 on iPad for job allocations Day to day Workshop duties Maintain tooling to undertake repairs General housekeeping, ensure a clean and safe work environment Any other duties within the skill and scope of the position as directed Requirements Operate equipment in a safe manner at all times Previous experience is preferred Trade qualified – heavy diesel, fitter & turner, fitter machinist all suitable Experience & ability to diagnose & repair hydraulic components such as cylinders, motors, valves & pumps. A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship Ability to work well within a team

About the Opportunity Due to consistent growth across our business and with the current opportunities in the Defence, Mining, Oil and Gas and Construction sectors we are now seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our high performing team in our Darwin Branch. We are seeking a customer focused individual who has the enthusiasm to promote our companies’ products and services & explore the many new business opportunities within this region. Working closely with the Business Manager and Internal Sales Team you will assist in developing existing customers and increase sales and service to them, as well as identifying new customers and bringing them on board. We have a motto of “if we don’t stock it, we will find it”. Your responsibilities in this role will include: Regular scheduled client visits for needs analysis and business development. Developing and presenting solutions with the support of our technical team. Reporting weekly on progress to management and customers regarding job progress and business development activity. Ensure that the needs and expectations of our customers are understood. Develop innovative service and repair solutions for our customers, both existing and potential. Work in Internal sales when required to support and learn our products and services. Identify markets, product ranges and sales volume objectives to compliment the business growth strategies. Create, implement and drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closing sale and ongoing customer support whilst demonstrating impeccable customer service. To be considered for this role, you will possess: Experience in Sales Development preferably in the Hydraulic or Trades Sector Local Industry knowledge and contacts. Mining or Heavy Engineering Industry experience. High level of customer centricity, initiative, and self-motivation. Effective communication, time management and organisation skills. Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with customers, internal and external stakeholders. Valid Driver's Licence.
Hose Technician – Mobile Service VehicleHosepower are the Territory's largest and most comprehensive integrated hydraulic and industrial fluid equipment sales and service provider. If you enjoy some autonomy whilst out on the road but can also work within a team environment, we have a role for you. Potential training in a hydraulic qualification for the right person. Duties and Responsibilities Undertaking servicing, diagnostics or repairs on heavy road transport or trucks for customers onsite Attending customer breakdowns as needed Use of Ipad for job allocation on ServiceM8 Hose making and customer product sales in warehouse if required Replenish stock in truck on a regular basis adhering to stock control procedures Provide own tooling necessary to undertake core duties per trade Skills and Experience MR licence needed or the ability to obtain Trade qualified preferred – light vehicle, small engine, heavy diesel, fitter & turner, fitter machinist all suitable A white card or the ability to obtain A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship Flexibility with working hours as "after hours" availability is a pre-requisite Ability to work well within a team Experience in hydraulics would be beneficial Previous experience is desirable
